I recently joined the trombone faculty at Missouri State University (MSU), where I work alongside bass trombonist Dr. Jason Hausback. I encourage you to read his bio—he brings incredible experience and has guided many students toward their musical goals. MSU has a strong, well-established trombone program, and there will be a graduate assistantship available starting fall semester 2026. Or there is scholarship money to offset already low tuition costs. If you’re thinking about studying trombone at MSU, I’d be excited to talk with you about the program and how we can help you grow and succeed as a musician.
